The purpose of the Planning Commission is to recommend to the Township Board, land use practices, design standards, ordinances and amendments that will protect and enhance the natural and built environment, are fiscally responsible, consistent with the Master Plan and will protect the long term health, safety and welfare of all the residents of Whitewater Township. The Planning Commission members are appointed by the supervisor with approval of the Township Board. The term of office is 3 years.

Regular meetings of the Planning Commission are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the Whitewater Township Hall, at 7:00pm
